Bars and nightlife in Alcudia

In contrast to Majorca’s more party orientated southwestern resorts, Alcudia is a fairly quiet resort and the hotels here are generally the main source of entertainment for visitors. However, bars and nightlife in Alcudia do exist and there are many establishments that cater for the whole family.

The largest collection of bars and nightlife in Alcudia can be found in the Dollar street area, right in the centre of the resort, as well as in the port area. There are plenty of international bars to choose from, including English style pubs with popular beers on tap; German beer gardens plus a number of Spanish tapas bars.

Bars in Alcudia are popular with British holidaymakers and there is an abundance of British style and British run bars, usually with real ales on tap, as well as other international beers. Live English football and horse racing are covered on the screens, while bingo and quizzes also feature, along with karaoke and menus that cater for the British palate.

You can also find an Irish bar with Guinness on tap; a Scottish bar; music cafés with live music; themed bars from popular US TV shows; bistros with entertainment for the whole family plus live music and karaoke bars with open air terraces. Most of the bars serve a range of food along with traditional tapas.

The thing to remember about bars and nightlife in Alcudia is that, since it is a family orientated resort, the emphasis is on facilities for the kids and keeping them happy with fun and games. Don’t expect a full on party scene that caters purely for adults.
