Majorca is an action packed holiday destination and is predominantly a party island where drinking and having a good time are celebrated with gusto. There is a huge range of leisure and activities available in Majorca and whether you are into golf, scuba diving or the myriad of other water sports on offer or you just want to relax, you will be sure to find a leisure pursuit or activity to suit your needs.
Magaluf and Palma Nova are ideal bases for enjoying leisure and activity time in Majorca, with their wide, sweeping bays that support every type of water sport and nearby world class golf courses and fun parks, such as the Western Water Park, which has a selection of themed pools and slides.
Majorca also offers excellent diving opportunities and there are numerous underwater attractions around the coast and the islands to the south. Other water based leisure activities such as submarine cruises in Magaluf and Cala Millor and sailing charters and courses can also be enjoyed.
If water based activities are not your thing, Majorca also offers excellent hiking opportunities in the picturesque Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains to the north of Palma. There are some superb tracks around Valldemossa and Deia and the best time to go walking is in the spring when the air is clear and cool. These areas are also popular with keen cyclists and there are many coastal bike tracks.

Majorca is loaded with great scuba diving spots and marine parks where you will find an abundance of colourful sea creatures, underwater shipwrecks, sea walls and striking sea caves.
Golf
Golf is extremely popular in Majorca owing to the year round sunshine, and there are several top class courses to choose from within easy reach of the resorts.
