Ibiza Airport

Located in the southwest corner of the island, Ibiza Airport is conveniently close to Ibiza Town, which is only a 20-minute drive away.

There are frequent flights to Ibiza Airport from most major European cities and many low cost charter flights offer great deals if you book early. Flights connecting Ibiza with the mainland are on offer and there are some routes to the USA and Scandinavian countries.

When you arrive on the island, a bus will shuttle you from your plane to the airport’s only terminal, where you can then collect your baggage. Although Ibiza is only a small airport, baggage usually arrives quickly and with minimum fuss. As you walk out into the arrivals hall, expect to be greeted by millions of club reps and tour guides.

Should you be traveling independently, you can take a taxi or bus from just outside the airport to any of the main resorts. However, if you are on a package holiday, then your holiday rep will take care of your transportation to your hotel.

The airport offers good facilities, including car hire desks, duty-free shopping, currency exchange, ATMs, a bank, a medical centre, toilets, a small selection of places to dine or grab a snack, a chapel, several tour operators and travel agencies, an airport information desk and a fantastic tourist information desk.

Smoking areas are not provided and smoking is prohibited inside the airport, although this is not strictly adhered to. There is also no left-luggage facility.

The airport is accessible by the PM-801 motorway that connects the terminal with Ibiza Town, or if you are coming from San José, you can take the PM-803.

The airport offers free parking for stops of 15 minutes or less and paid long-stay parking.
