Ibiza Town is probably the most attractive town on the island, making it a top place to stay for the thousands of holidaymakers that visit the island each year. Conveniently located near a wide choice of nightlife options and beaches, it is not surprising that hotels in Ibiza Town quickly fill up during the high season.

Accommodation in Ibiza Town itself can be hard to find due to the limited number of establishments with a presence in the centre. It is for this reason that most people choose to stay at the nearby beach resorts of Talamanca or Figueretas, where accommodation is plentiful, the beach is right on your doorstep, and Ibiza Town is less than ten minutes away.

Accommodation in and around Ibiza is usually high quality and there is a range to suit all budgets. The bigger resort-style hotels with swimming pools are popular, as are rented apartments and hostels.

The conveniently located Talamanca and Figueretas both provide a family friendly atmosphere and beautiful white sandy beaches where you can indulge in an assortment of water sports activities. The Bay of Talamanca is known for its close proximity to the Marina, the mega-club Pacha, and the Casino, making it a favourite place to stay.

The small suburb of Figueretas has good amenities and a choice array of high rise hotels, restaurants, bars and cafés that line its waterfront. This area tends to pack out with groups of younger holidaymakers who come for the clubs during July and August, so if this isn’t what you had in mind, quieter alternatives can be found farther along the coast.

If you want to avoid the busiest period, don’t visit during August, when accommodation fills up and the streets and beaches become overcrowded and humid. It’s always best to book in advance during the high season from June to September.

During the winter months, the pace of Ibiza Town slows down considerably and there are some good deals on hotels. It may not be warm enough to go swimming; however, Ibiza Town has many restaurants, bars, and clubs that stay open all year round.
