Calling home from Ibiza is easy. Most mobile phones work on the island and the majority of hotel rooms have a telephone. If there isn’t a telephone in your room, then there will be one in the reception area. These are usually more expensive to call home on, but convenient.

There are also plenty of coin telephone boxes dotted around the resorts. However, if you don’t want to stand in the street and talk, you haven’t got any change, or your hotel room doesn’t have a phone, then there are telephone cabins, marked as ‘Telefonica’, where you can talk in private and pay when you finish.

Make sure you know the country code for your home country before arriving; however, if you don’t know, ask your hotel or a telephone cabin and they can provide you with this information.
