Nightlife & bars Es Canar

During the summer months, the nightlife in Es Canar becomes very lively as the resort floods with happy holidaymakers looking for some evening action.

A good selection of bars provides the resort with a range of different establishments, each offering a unique atmosphere. Whether you are looking for something similar to home or a drinking establishment with a Spanish flavour, Es Canar has a variety to choose from.

Located centrally in the village along the main road from Santa Eulalia and all along the beachfront are several good drinking establishments. You can find traditional English-style pubs that offer pub food and snacks, pool tables, darts, video game machines, quizzes and karaoke, and for those who can’t miss a match, there are a number of places with football coverage, and you can even watch your favourite British soaps.

Drinks prices are relatively cheap here, especially the beer, so you can have a few without worrying too much about the dent it’ll make in your pocket. There are a couple of discos in Es Canar that offer fairly mainstream European chart and dance music, and these mainly attract a younger crowd. The Spanish locals like to frequent the discos as much as the holidaymakers so expect a mixed crowd.

For those visitors who want to check out a piece of the bigger action at some of the island’s mega-clubs, for a price, there are arranged coach trips that will conveniently take you there and back and provide you with entry tickets that ensure there will be no big queues when you arrive.
