Pictures of Formentera
As the only way to get to the island is by Ferry from Ibiza’s south eastern coast, stunning pictures can be taken along the journey of the turquoise waters and perhaps even the sight of dolphins. The island of Formentera boasts wonderful beaches and bays with marvelous grottos. Picturesque villages housing typical white-washed houses and some beautiful churches are also prominent.
Uniquely delightful landscapes can be found at the narrowest area of the island, Las Salinas of salt plans and marshes. Extensive pine woods stretch down to the beach of Es Pujols on the North of the island. For panoramic views, above sea level, head down the road to La Mola in the south-east.
Photographers looking to discover Formentera’s untouched nature will be dazzled along the islands western stretch complimented by the beautiful beach of Cala Saona. Be prepared with your camera as you will no want to miss out on taking the picture-perfect snapshots that can be taken of the varying strunning landscapes. If you have a digital camera, batteries are easy to get hold of. However, internet access is somewhat limited.
If in search of the most picturesque shots you are advised to be ready at sunrise and sunset to capture the stunning views across the island and its many bays.
